The cost to develop a single drug from invention to pharmacy shelves is estimated around $2.7 billion, according to Forbes in 2017. Even with this staggering number, 90% of drugs don’t make it to market because they are deemed unsafe or ineffective. We hope to change this. As a team, Syroto Bioprinters offers affordable, easy to use, and efficient printers that can print 3D cell matrices used for drug development. More realistic cell models allow for better representation of the human body and allow for accurate results from each drug regarding its effects on patients.
